Full Stack Developer – Junior (SW Eng II)
As a full stack developer, you will be providing both operations and maintenance support and software modernization enhancements as part of an Agile software delivery team. This role will include working closely with both the team and directly with customers to transform legacy business systems. As a full stack developer, you will actively support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Provide programming support and well-documented code for a grants and financial management system.
- Diagnose and fix system issues found by users.
- Triage and solve Tier 2 Help Desk requests.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- 2-4 years of programming experience in a formal language (e.g., Java, Vue.js, AngularJS, etc.)
- 2+ year of experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting, or upgrading of software systems
- Familiar working with data (e.g., reading/writing data from a database engine)
- Working knowledge of web applications
- Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) team environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills, solid communication skills
- Willingness to work across multiple areas
- B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with at least 3 programming classes
- Consulting experience and business process analysis/optimization required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and Agile team members.
- Able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure.
- Ability to deliver multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
